Statement of the EHS Department - Environmental, Health and Occupational Safety
- Regarding 2011/65 EU RoHS – European Regulation on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment
- Regarding 2015/863/EU – Delegated Directive amending Annex II as of 2011/65/EU
EU Directive 2011/65/EU restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. This legislation had previously not applied to our B2B devices for commercial dishwashing. As of 22/07/19, this law now also applies to our electrical devices.
In our own interests and against a background of high delivery safety and product safety, we take our obligations very seriously and design our products in such a way that, according to the current state of knowledge, they pose no danger to the user and the environment, provided they are used as intended. We have defined our own materials standard and are in contact with our suppliers.
We hereby confirm that, after evaluation of the feedback received from our suppliers, we comply with the applicable RoHS legislation – taking into account permissible exceptions and limit values.
