Apprentice CAD Project Designer

WHERE WE NEED YOU

Winterhalter are currently recruiting for an Apprentice CAD Project Designer. You will be responsible for providing accurate CAD Drawings of proposed warewash systems to customers, BDMs and internally. Supporting the design department with day to day quotations, tenders and customer enquiries. Apply now for this fantastic position!

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Working closely with the Design Department Manager internally as well as building and maintaining working relationships with Business Development Managers, suppliers, head office and affiliate companies.
  • Working environment will be mainly office based however there will be opportunities to visit sites and develop your skills.
  • Develop sketch designs or text specification into professional CAD drawings which are accurate for manufacturing of bespoke items.
  • Working with BDMs and clients to perfect the proposed layout for their site.
  • Provide detailed quotations of drawings and requested specifications fit to be ordered and manufactured.
  • Handle the income of Tender documents and produce drawings and quotations for Design Consultants and Kitchen House Distributors.
  • Confidence to view other drawings and develop them to professional designs.
  • Maintain clean workspace
  • Developing the CAD Library keeping information relevant and up to date.
  • Managing any enquiries in regards to Revit Models and 3D Blocks.
  • Internal enquires to improve products or find a creative solution.
