Field Service Technician


Currently we are seeking an experienced London based Field Service Technician to join our Service and Installations team.


  • This is a customer facing role in a very demanding industry, the successful candidate will be dealing with some of the leading restaurants in the London area as well as a variety of casual dining chains.
  • You will build professional relationships and deliver commercially focussed service to support the success of Winterhalter and our valued customers in line with agreed service levels and targets.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and the repair of warewashing equipment such as commercial undercounter, pass-through and rack conveyor dishwashers.
  • You must be able to work unsupervised and be familiar with computerised logging and job allocation systems, including CRM.
  • The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.


  • Provide exemplary standards of service and customer support during field visits
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Document processes and follow company standard procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
  • Evaluate customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations


  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills for building customer and team relations 
  • Proven field service experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Ability and desire to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • As you will be working with single and 3 phase equipment - an electrical qualification is essential


  • Core hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus 12 Saturdays and 4 Sundays per calendar year based on a rota
