CUSTOMISED SOLUTION

Perfectly adapted to the space available to you and your dishes, the UC is available in sizes S, M, L and XL. There are four different variants for you to choose from: a glass, dish, cutlery and bistro washer. Each of these has up to three standard programmes and numerous equipment options.

USER-FRIENDLY

The UC has a smart touch display with programme and progress indicator, with single-button operation. Operation of the UC is easy and intuitive. Expect easy cleaning, with two wash fields that can be removed with one hand at the push of a button – entirely without the use of tools.

Hygiene certificates of compliance with DIN Spec 10534 are available for all Winterhalter dishwashers. This means that washing in correctly operated Winterhalter machines using sufficient dosages of suitable detergent is safe with regard to coronavirus. The washing conditions in our machines not only ensure the removal of stubborn contaminants, such as grease, starch, proteins etc., but also the reliable inactivation of potentially pathogenic enveloped viruses, including coronaviruses and influenza viruses.

The cleaner the wash water, the better the wash result. That’s why every Winterhalter warewasher is equipped with the tried and tested, efficient fourfold wash water filtration system. During stage 1, a strainer filters the largest dirt particles out of the wash water. During stage 2, the filter cylinder with its fine filter removes smaller dirt particles. The Mediamat then filters out the finest particles, such as coffee grounds, during stage 3. Finally, during stage 4, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.

Intelligent use of energy: As an option, the UC can be fitted with »Energy« integrated circulating air heat recovery. This uses the energy from the hot steam to pre-heat the cold inlet water. This significantly reduces energy consumption, lowers operating costs and ensures that hardly any steam escapes when the machine is opened.

The UC Series is very economical to operate: the optimised wash field reduces water consumption by up to 25 % compared to the previous model. Consumption of electricity and chemicals also drops, further minimising overall operating costs. All this with first-class wash results.

 Every UC comes with variable water pressure regulation as standard: »VarioPower« adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the type of wash items and how dirty they are. Fine glasses and fragile bowls are washed at low water pressure, while sturdy dishes are washed at a higher water pressure. Soiling is removed without fail in this way – while the dishes are treated gently.

Sparkling glasses and gleaming cutlery – with no need for polishing, straight from the machine: the »UC Excellence-i« option makes this possible. The integrated reverse osmosis for machine sizes S and M meets the highest standards of water quality and delivers first-class wash results. Ideal for narrow counter areas where there is no space for external devices. The »UC Excellence-iPlus« with an integrated softener is also available.

Every UC has a WLAN function on board as standard. This allows for the machine to be networked with a computer or mobile device via CONNECTED WASH. This creates the prerequisite for the analysis and evaluation of all the important operating data – in order to optimise the entire washing process. Simultaneously, the UC automatically receives all important updates so that its software is always right up-to-date.

Ready for the future: A smart touch display is at work in the UC cockpit. With single-button operation. A language-neutral user interface with self-explanatory pictograms. And with the gesture control we are all familiar with from smartphones. The display reacts sensitively and can also be reliably operated in gloves. The surface is made of glass and is particularly robust: It has been tested under extreme conditions.

Sparkling glasses. Gleaming dishes. Shiny cutlery. Or all of these together. The UC can be adapted precisely to the wash items you use and the types of soiling involved. There are four different variants: a glass, dish, cutlery and bistro washer. Each of these has up to three standard programmes as well as other individual setting options.

Space-saving integration: as an option, the UC is available with an integrated chemical container for detergent and rinse aid. No additional space is required, and there are no containers left around in the kitchen. The integrated containers can be accessed quickly and easily through a handy flap on the front, allowing them to be topped up without difficulty.

They have a crucial influence on the quality of the wash result. They provide the ideal protection for your dishes and are easy to use: Wash racks. There is a perfect rack for every type of wash item. When you buy a UC, you can choose from various rack packages: perfectly suited to your requirements.

It’s the many small but practical details that turn a UC into an integrated solution. For example, the drip trays that are available as accessories: they are the ideal storage location for any wash rack, collecting residual water effectively and helping to prevent puddles forming on the counter and in the kitchen. To help keep the area around your machine as clean as possible.

Commercial warewashing is always individual: requirements, applications and standards vary in each situation. That’s why the UC also offers you a whole range of special programmes. There’s an intensive programme for stubborn dirt, for example. The ECO programme can be used for a more economical operation and the Silence programme can be selected for an extra quiet cycle – ideal in the counter area. There are also descaling and self-cleaning programmes. And if that’s not enough, you can configure your very own special programmes.

Instead of integrating your UC into the counter, would you prefer a free-standing unit at just the right working height? Would you rather keep wash racks or detergent and rinse aid containers tidied away under the machine? We’ve considered these options and developed special plinths for the UC Series tailored to these requirements. Open and enclosed, in various heights, with or without a drawer. For ergonomic working and space-saving storage.

The UC Series is available with an integrated softener as an option: this is built into the machine to save space and provides continuous soft water using the principle of ion exchange. Detergent and rinse aid work most effectively and deliver better wash results in soft water. At the same time, limescale deposits in the machine are reduced and the long-term damage associated with limescale is avoided.

During stage 2, the coarse dirt particles are removed, followed by the finer particles. The Mediamat then filters out the finest particles, such as coffee grounds, during stage 3. Finally, during stage 4, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.

This option pays for itself quickly: in contrast to the »EnergyLight« waste water heat exchanger that is fitted as standard, »EnergyPlus« offers both a more efficient waste water heat exchanger and an exhaust air heat exchanger. It uses the energy from the hot steam to pre-heat the cold inlet water. The advantage: up to 20% of the operating costs are saved every wash cycle. When you open the machine, hardly any steam escapes.

In addition to the two systems for waste water and exhaust air heat recovery, the »ClimatePlus« heat pump is also available as an option for the PT in sizes M and L: this not only draws on the thermal energy from inside the machine to heat the tank and rinse water – it also uses the heat from the air in the room. This reduces the operating costs by up to a further 50%, lowers the humidity level in the air and makes for a much more pleasant kitchen environment thanks to its air-conditioning effect.

The PT Series has a carefully thought out approach for perfect hygiene and convenient cleaning. The interior of the machine is smooth and has no joints. There is a special hygienic rack guide. The tank is deep-drawn and has a hygienic heating element. All this means: there are no nooks, crannies or concealed corners in the interior in which dirt can accumulate or deposits can form. In conjunction with the integrated self-cleaning programme, the cleaning work required by your staff is therefore kept to a minimum. A neat solution.

The standard equipment of the PT Series includes »EnergyLight« waste water heat recovery: the heat exchanger uses the energy from the waste water to heat the cold inlet water. The advantage: you save on resources and energy costs are reduced by up to 10% per wash cycle.

Every PT comes with variable water pressure regulation as standard: »VarioPower« adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the type of wash items and how dirty they are. Digitalisation is creating new opportunities in the field of commercial warewashing and improving both safety and efficiency. With CONNECTED WASH, the PT Series can be integrated into your network and important operating data can be evaluated. Consequently, recommendations and actions are made that will help to optimise the washing process. The machine status can be monitored from anywhere in the world through the free app. In the event of a critical error, CONNECTED WASH automatically sends a notification to a defined group of recipients. In addition, the PT automatically receives important updates, ensuring its software is always up to date.

At the end of a working day: The PT has a guided self-cleaning programme, to ensure the machine works perfectly for many years. Fully automatic cleaning of the interior of the machine is started using the touch screen. User-friendly pictograms on the display then guide you through the subsequent manual cleaning stages. The drain pump takes any residual water out of the machine and prevents deposits or odours.

An optional equipment detail: the PT is available with a hood that opens automatically at the end of the wash cycle. This offers several advantages: the wash items dry faster, cool down faster and can be reused faster. All this eases the burden on your dishwashing staff. And you notice immediately when the wash cycle has finished.

Would you like to ensure that your PT is ready to use as quickly as possible? Increased boiler heating, which is available as an option, makes this possible: the additional heating power delivers significantly shorter warm-up times and means that the machine is ready to use quickly, even with cold inlet water. This is a particular advantage at peak times and when you start up the PT.

It's always best to err on the side of caution: a press of the PT's touch screen is enough to see exactly what the current status of the tank and boiler temperatures. This enables you to monitor the temperature quickly and easily, secure in the knowledge that hygiene is guaranteed throughout the wash cycle. Hygienic cleaning starts from a temperature of 60 °C.

In a commercial kitchen, numerous electrical appliances are in use at the same time. As an option, the machines in the PT Series are available with a DIN 18875 interface, which allows them to be integrated conveniently into energy management systems. Individual electrical consumers can thus be controlled individually to avoid peak loads.

The heart of the PT Series: inside the machine, two elliptical wash fields at the top and bottom deliver optimal washing quality. These are the result of many years of development, and their shape as well as the specific geometry of the jets provide maximum coverage and washing power.

Take advantage of all opportunities to make savings: the PT comes with a driven rinse system as an option. Unlike conventional systems, a small electric motor provides the drive. As a result, the rinse water volume is reduced by up to 17%. And your operating costs will fall significantly.
