The UC Series is cost-effective to operate: The optimised wash field reduces water consumption by up to 25 percent compared to the previous model. Consumption of electricity and chemicals also drops as a result – which further minimises the overall operating costs. And all this with first-class wash results.

CUSTOMISED SOLUTION

Perfectly adapted to the space available to you and your dishes: The UC is available in sizes S, M, L and XL. There are four different variants for you to choose from: a glass, dish, cutlery and bistro washer. Each of these has up to three standard programmes and numerous equipment options.

A smart touch display with programme and progress indicator. Single-button operation. Ergonomic door handle. And particularly easy cleaning, with two wash fields that can be removed with one hand at the push of a button – entirely without the use of tools. Operation of the UC is easy and intuitive. UC SERIES PRODUCT FEATURES

Hygiene certificates of compliance with DIN Spec 10534 are available for all Winterhalter dishwashers. This means that washing in correctly operated Winterhalter machines using sufficient dosages of suitable detergent is safe with regard to coronavirus. The washing conditions in our machines not only ensure the removal of stubborn contaminants, such as grease, starch, proteins etc., but also the reliable inactivation of potentially pathogenic enveloped viruses, including coronaviruses and influenza viruses.

The cleaner the wash water, the better the wash result. That’s why every Winterhalter dishwasher is equipped with the tried and tested, efficient fourfold wash water filtration system. During stage 1, a strainer filters the largest dirt particles out of the wash water. During stage 2, the filter cylinder with its fine filter removes smaller dirt particles. The Mediamat then filters out the finest particles, such as coffee grounds, during stage 3. Finally, during stage 4, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.

For the worst-case scenario: if the wash items are so dirty that even the fourfold wash water filtration system is struggling to cope, the clouding sensor steps in to help. The optical sensor monitors how cloudy the tank water is and ensures fast regeneration if it is too dirty.

 Every UC comes with variable water pressure regulation as standard: »VarioPower« adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the type of wash items and how dirty they are. Fine glasses and fragile bowls are washed at low water pressure, while sturdy dishes are washed at a higher water pressure. Soiling is removed without fail in this way – while the dishes are treated gently.

Thermostop Rinsing is crucial to achieving perfectly hygienic wash results. But only if the rinsing temperature is right. The UC Series monitors itself in this respect: the Thermostopp device does not allow the rinsing process to begin until the boiler temperature has reached the defined set value.

Sparkling glasses and gleaming cutlery – with no need for polishing, straight from the machine: the »UC Excellence-i« option makes this possible. The integrated reverse osmosis for machine sizes S and M meets the highest standards of water quality and delivers first-class wash results. Ideal for narrow counter areas where there is no space for external devices. The »UC Excellence-iPlus« with an integrated softener is also available.

Intelligent use of energy: As an option, the UC can be fitted with »Energy« integrated circulating air heat recovery. This uses the energy from the hot steam to pre-heat the cold inlet water. This significantly reduces energy consumption, lowers operating costs and ensures that hardly any steam escapes when the machine is opened.

Ready for the future: A smart touch display is at work in the UC cockpit. With single-button operation. A language-neutral user interface with self-explanatory pictograms. And with the gesture control we are all familiar with from smartphones. The display reacts sensitively and can also be reliably operated in gloves. The surface is made of glass and is particularly robust: It has been tested under extreme conditions.

There are four different variants: a glass, dish, cutlery and bistro washer. Each of these has up to three standard programmes as well as other individual setting options.

Space-saving integration: as an option, the UC is available with an integrated chemical container for detergent and rinse aid. No additional space is required, and there are no containers left around in the kitchen. The integrated containers can be accessed quickly and easily through a handy flap on the front, allowing them to be topped up without difficulty.

They have a crucial influence on the quality of the wash result. They provide the ideal protection for your dishes and are easy to use: Wash racks. There is a perfect rack for every type of wash item. When you buy a UC, you can choose from various rack packages: perfectly suited to your requirements.

It’s the many small but practical details that turn a UC into an integrated solution. For example, the drip trays that are available as accessories: they are the ideal storage location for any wash rack, collecting residual water effectively and helping to prevent puddles forming on the counter and in the kitchen. To help keep the area around your machine as clean as possible.

Commercial dishwashing is always individual: requirements, applications and standards vary in each situation. That’s why the UC also offers you a whole range of special programmes. There’s an intensive programme for stubborn dirt, for example. The ECO programme can be used for a more economical operation and the Silence programme can be selected for an extra quiet cycle – ideal in the counter area. There are also descaling and self-cleaning programmes. And if that’s not enough, you can configure your very own special programmes.

Instead of integrating your UC into the counter, would you prefer a free-standing unit at just the right working height? Would you rather keep wash racks or detergent and rinse aid containers tidied away under the machine? We’ve considered these options and developed special plinths for the UC Series tailored to these requirements. Open and enclosed, in various heights, with or without a drawer. For ergonomic working and space-saving storage.

The UC Series is available with an integrated softener as an option: this is built into the machine to save space and provides continuous soft water using the principle of ion exchange. Detergent and rinse aid work most effectively and deliver better wash results in soft water. At the same time, limescale deposits in the machine are reduced and the long-term damage associated with limescale is avoided.
