The cleaner the wash water, the better the wash result. That’s why every Winterhalter warewasher is equipped with the tried and tested, efficient fourfold wash water filtration system. During stage 1, a strainer filters the largest dirt particles out of the wash water. During stage 2, the filter cylinder with fine filter removes smaller dirt particles. The Mediamat then filters out the finest particles, such as coffee grounds, during stage 3. Finally, during stage 4, the pump inlet filter gets to work, protecting the pump from mechanical damage. As a result, the wash water remains clean at all times.
 

Space-saving integration: as an option, the UC is available with an integrated chemical container for detergent and rinse aid. No additional space is required, and there are no containers left around in the kitchen. The integrated containers can be accessed quickly and easily through a handy flap on the front, allowing them to be topped up without difficulty.

They have a crucial influence on the quality of the wash result. They provide the ideal protection for your dishes and are easy to use: Wash racks. There is a perfect rack for every type of wash item. When you buy a UC, you can choose from various rack packages: perfectly suited to your requirements.

Commercial warewashing is always individual: requirements, applications and standards vary in each situation. That’s why the UC also offers you a whole range of special programmes. For example there’s a basic cleaning programme, a soaking programme and an intensive programme for particularly heavy and stubborn soiling as well as short programmes for when things have to be done quickly. The ECO programme can be used for a more economical operation and the Silence programme can be selected for an extra quiet cycle – ideal in the counter area. There are also descaling and self-cleaning programmes. And if that’s not enough, you can configure your very own special programmes.

The »Cool« cold water rinse is available as an additional option specifically for glasswashers in the UC Series: rinsing with cold water means that your glasses are cool when the wash cycle is complete and can be used straight away. This also ensures that chilled drinks are always served cold. And the head on your beer will not deteriorate, because the glass will be cold. What’s more, you won’t waste any time waiting for your glasses to cool. When you open the machine, hardly any steam escapes.

Instead of integrating your UC into the counter, would you prefer a free-standing unit at just the right working height? Would you rather keep wash racks or detergent and rinse aid containers tidied away under the machine? We’ve considered these options and developed special plinths for the UC Series tailored to these requirements. Open and enclosed, in various heights, with or without a drawer. For ergonomic working and space-saving storage.

It’s the many small but practical details that turn a UC into an integrated solution. For example, the drip trays that are available as accessories: they are the ideal storage location for any wash rack, collecting residual water effectively and helping to prevent puddles forming on the counter and in the kitchen. To help keep the area around your machine as clean as possible.

The UC uses every available opportunity for reducing energy costs: stand-by mode switches on automatically during wash breaks and the boiler temperature drops – only to a level that the rinse water can be heated to the set temperature again during the next wash cycle. Your UC uses less energy as a result, yet it is always ready for operation.

The UC Series is available with an integrated softener as an option: this is built into the machine to save space and provides continuous soft water using the principle of ion exchange. Detergent and rinse aid work most effectively and deliver better wash results in soft water. At the same time, limescale deposits in the machine are reduced and the long-term damage associated with limescale is avoided.

With the bottle rack and a special adapter, any UC-Series warewasher can become a bottle washing system. 8 bottles are cleaned and made hygienic per wash cycle in less than a minute. Water is injected into the bottle directly via a special jet. This provides certified hygiene safety in accordance with DIN SPEC 10534. The bottle rack is suitable for bottles and carafes with a diameter of up to 100 mm. The bottle rack can be used in alternating operation. To wash other wash items, simply insert the lower wash field in place of the rack adapter. All UC-Series warewashers can be retrofitted at any time with the bottle rack.
