Winterhalter unveils its new SPX solid dosing system – efficient and safe dosing of highly concentrated powder detergents

Among the key advantages of the SPX is that it allows the use of highly concentrated powder detergents, which improve efficiency by around two thirds compared to liquid detergents. Handling is convenient and safe, as the detergent cartridges can be replaced without coming into contact with the chemicals. This reduces risks in day-to-day work and makes operation easier.

In order to function, the SPX solid dosing system must be combined with the DCX dosing control. The DCX continuously measures the conductivity of the tank water, determining the actual detergent concentration at all times. The system uses this information as a basis to automatically adjust the detergent quantity – for consistently optimised wash results and the highest level of hygiene safety. What is more, the DCX offers maximum flexibility by enabling the connection and precise control of three additional dosing devices.
