The problem.

Every warewasher in the UC and PT Series from Winterhalter comes with a special programme that delivers real added value: the Eco programme. It lowers the machine’s energy consumption and therefore the operating costs. Unfortunately, this programme is rarely used in practice: Because it has to be selected manually. Because the warewashing staff need to know how it is activated. Because the warewashing staff have to remember it each time.

The solution.

What if the energy saving mode could be activated without direct intervention of the warewashing staff? Automatically, in the background? Winterhalter has achieved precisely this using artificial intelligence: EcoPilot uses analysis to predict the machine's workload and automatically switches to the ideal programme. This keeps energy consumption in line with the actual needs. Phases in which there is not much washing offer the greatest savings potential: switching to the Eco programme can cut energy requirements by up to 17%. EcoPilot is therefore yet another step towards smart, connected and sustainable warewashing solutions for tomorrow’s world.
