Energy-saving warewashing with Winterhalter

Machine features that reduce energy consumption and sustainably reduce operating costs.

Our energy-saving features for the UC Series

Innovative wash field

The perfect nozzle geometry guarantees first-class wash results, ensures water savings of up to 25 % and reduces electricity consumption.

Heat recovery

The “Energy” exhaust air heat recovery preheats the cold inlet water. This reduces energy consumption for each wash cycle and lowers operating costs.

Eco programme

The wash time is extended by 50 %, and both the rinse water volume and the detergent dosing are reduced. This reduces operating costs by up to 15 %.

CONNECTED WASH

All relevant operating data for the networked machine are analysed. Individual energy-saving instructions enable cost-effective rinsing.

Standby function

During wash breaks, the boiler temperature is automatically lowered to a minimum value. This saves more energy than switching off and the machine is quickly ready to start again.

Double-skinned

The double-skinned stainless steel construction ensures optimal insulation. This keeps the heat in the machine and minimises energy loss.

Our energy-saving features for the PT Series

Waste water heat recovery

The standard “EnergyLight” heat exchanger uses the energy from the waste water to heat up the cold inlet water. This saves electricity costs of up to 10 %.

Exhaust air heat recovery

In combination with the waste water heat exchanger, the “EnergyPlus” exhaust air heat recovery preheats the cold inlet water. This reduces energy consumption by up to 15 %.

Heat pump

“ClimatePlus” uses the thermal energy from the machine waste steam and room air to heat the rinse and tank water. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 35 %.

Innovative wash field

The perfect nozzle geometry guarantees first-class wash results, ensures water savings of up to 25 % and reduces electricity consumption.

Driven rinse system

An electric motor drives the wash field during the final rinse. This means for the final rinse: 0.4 litres of water are saved per wash cycle.

Eco programme

The wash time is extended by 50 %, and both the rinse water volume and the detergent dosing are reduced. This reduces operating costs by up to 15 %.

Heat recovery

The “Energy” exhaust air heat recovery preheats the cold inlet water. This reduces energy consumption for each wash cycle and lowers operating costs.

CONNECTED WASH

All relevant operating data for the networked machine is analysed. Tailored energy-saving advice enables cost-effective washing.

Standby function

During wash breaks, the boiler temperature is automatically lowered to a minimum value. This saves more energy than switching off and the machine is quickly ready to start again.

Warm water initial fill

The tank is filled directly with warm water and does not need to be heated up separately. This means the warewasher is ready for use more quickly and so consumes less energy.

Intermediate shelf

With the intermediate shelf, two open Euronorm transport racks can be washed in one wash cycle. The double washing capacity reduces power consumption.

Double-skinned

The double-skinned stainless steel construction ensures optimal insulation. This keeps the heat in the machine and minimises energy loss.

Our energy-saving features for the CTR Series

Rack-controlled zone activation

The pre-rinse, main rinse and final rinse zones are only activated if there are wash items in the respective zone. This saves energy costs when the machine is not in continuous use.

Speed-dependent rinse water volume

The rinse water volume is adjusted to the current transport speed as required. This minimises rinse water consumption and reduces energy costs.
